Immigration Medical Exam Appointment Process

Verification of Identity
When you arrive, you’ll check in at the front desk, where we’ll confirm your identity using a valid photo ID and register your appointment.
Photo Taken at the Clinic
A photo will be taken in the clinic. You do not need to bring a passport photo.
Medical History Review
A healthcare professional will ask about your medical history, including any past or current conditions, surgeries, medications, or treatments. This helps us create a complete health profile for IRCC.
Physical Examination
The doctor will perform a general physical exam, including checking your vision, height, weight, heart, lungs, and other key areas.
Testing
Chest X-ray (for patients 11 years and older) and blood testing (For patients 15 years and older) will be performed on site as part of the immigration medical exam process.
Submission of Medical Report
Once all parts of the exam are complete (including the chest X-ray and blood testing, if applicable based on age), we’ll submit your immigration medical exam results electronically to IRCC through the eMedical system, usually within 5–10 days.
Follow-Up Appointments
In most cases, no follow-up is required. However, if IRCC requests further details or your results need additional evaluation, please contact our clinic to book a follow-up appointment. Additional fees may apply depending on the services needed.
